FEMALE ONLY TRAINEE UNDERGROUND MINER PROGRAM – MORANBAH NORTH MINE

Applications are now open for our Female Only Trainee Underground Miner Program, based at our Moranbah North underground mine.

Multiple roles are available as part of the program and are designed for those who are new to the industry. This two-year program will see successful applicants gain a Certificate II in Underground Coal Mining Operations. Working alongside a range of technical and operational professionals in the underground environment, you will be provided with both on-the-job and competency-based training as you start your career in underground mining operations.

This physically demanding role will see you work up to 12 hour shifts in the underground environment where your safety conscious attitude to hazard identification and awareness is paramount. You will be a highly-motivated individual with good communication and teamwork skills, be resilient, adaptable to change and possess a positive and safety conscious attitude.

Camp accommodation is offered while on shift if the successful applicant/s do not reside in Moranbah.
