DESCRIPTION OF THE JOB:

Responsible for the consistent safeguarding of diamonds during product movement operations across the De Beers Group of Companies. To ensure the safety of personnel involved in diamond movements as the highest priority. To provide protection for the product at a level consummate to the threat.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Qualifications & Experience:

• Matric or a relevant tertiary qualification at NQF level 4 (National Certificate) in Security
•  anagement or recognized equivalent
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in the tactical environment of either Law Enforcement,
• Security -Product or VIP protection, or Military.

Certification (Legal requirements):

• PSIRA registration – Grade C
• SAPS Firearms competency certification as required by law for handgun, shotgun, rifle & Hand Machine Carbine
• Code C1
• Professional drivers permit (PDP)
• Valid security clearance (No criminal record, Pass PRE-employment polygraph test)
