Possess knowledge of the Uniform Patient’s Fees Schedules (UPFS), MEDICOM and Sound knowledge of the Public Finance Management Act, Treasury Regulations and Practice Notes. Good report writing skills. Be computer literate with good verbal and communication skills. Good interpersonal relations, honesty with a good discipline track record. Full knowledge and application of Appointment/Booking System, Patient Right Charter and Six Key Ministerial Priorities. Understanding and application of Batho Pele Principles and other related prescripts governing Public Service. A proven Supervisory or Team Leader experience in Patient Administration will be regarded as an added advantage (Attach Supervisor’s testimonial). Ensure effective and efficient management of patient records. Develop, implement and monitor measures aimed at reducing waiting times in Patient Admitting. Maintain effective and efficient utilization of stall. Coordinate and provide in-service training for staff and implementation of the performance agreement. Implement discipline and grievance procedures in accordance with laid down procedures. Accept overall responsibility for keeping confidential information within the department. Ensure the collection of quality data and the maintenance of the Institutional Health and Management Information Data. Putting mechanisms in place to improve the quality of the information received. Ensure that quarterly reports deadlines are met. Participate in service delivery improvement programmes such as revenue. Enrichment, development and implement risk management tools in the Patient Admission. To manage and administer the Mortuary facility with a view to providing effective public service.
