CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain operational readiness
  • Perform all specialised procedures in dealing with emergency and other incidents
  • Adhere to Governance and Risk Management in terms of legislations, policies and procedures
  • Adhere to Governance and Financial Processes in terms of legislations, policies and procedure
  • Care for other person’s life and assets without favor and/or prejudice
  • Continuous assessment of own performance, professional interaction and ethical dealing with stakeholders/ clients and co-workers

QUALIFICATIONS

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Grade 12
  • National Certificate in Fire Technology
  • Code C1 Driver’s license with PrDP
  • Basic Life Support (as defined by HPCSA) with HPCSA registration

OR

  • Grade 12
  • Fire Fighter I and II
  • Hazmat Awareness and Operations
  • Basic Ambulance Course with HPCSA registration
  • Code C1 with PrDP
  • 1 – 3 years’ experience in a similar environment
