OUTPUTS:

• Carry out electrical and mechanical repairs/maintenance on generators/motors/alternators/engines on Earthmoving Equipment in workshops and on customer sites
• Remove and install Mechanical and electrical components.
• Perform standby and attend callouts
• Provide specialist advise on all the customer requirements
• Build and sustain excellent customer relationships
• Effectively manage EMP account and Wiring electrical panels (MV and HV)
• Ensure safe work practice and Maintain professional image when representing Barloworld Equipment on customer site
• Quickly and efficiently deal with all customer electrical and mechanical breakdowns
• Compile accurate customer service reports
• Effective self-management and performance ownership and Control Contamination
• Control own admin (labour booking, service reports, part returns, expenses etc.)
• Maintain service vehicle and equipment
• Knowledge of electronics as applied to the control of heavy electrically driven equipment

CANDIDATES REQUIREMENTS

• Qualified in relevant trade (Millwright ONLY)
• Wireman’s licence (Optional)
• HT Certificate
• Three years technical experience on Electrical drive truck and Hydraulic Shovel
• Applicable product knowledge, Drivers licence – Code B and Good physical health
• Business development skills and knowledge
• Sound business and financial acumen
• Exposure to business planning/budgeting processes
• Employee relations and good reporting and Fault finding skills
• Good Computer skills to do machine diagnostics and fault finding
• Self-motivated and driven, Able to work Shift and Day shift
• Must be proactive and diligent flexible and dynamic in his approach for change
