Purpose of the Role • To facilitate the integration of digital payment solutions in delivery of an Omni-channel experience for Capitec clients
• Provide specialist input on business and technological aspects during business requirements gathering and technical design, development and implementation phases
• Analyse implemented solutions and recommend further improvements, which will improve service, quality and value
Qualifications • National Senior Certificate (Grade 12) or National Certificate (vocational)
• A relevant 3 year tertiary qualification (e.g. B.Sc Computer Science / B.Comm Information Systems) is preferred
Experience Min:

At least 2-4 years’ relevant experience in:

– Magnetic stripe and chip card payment processing (e.g. authorisation, clearing, settlement, reconciliation, dispute resolution, extracts and general ledger integration) architecture and design

– Switching Systems (e.g. Postilion and Base 24)

– Payment systems (e.g. Visanet and Banknet), including POS

– Applying core security (Symmetric and asymmetric cryptographic) principles

• Agile product development lifecycle
• Mobile QR and NFC payments (including tokenisation)
• Postilion Real-Time framework, PostCard and Postilion Office
• Mastercard SecureCode implementation

Knowledge and skills • IT System Architectural design principles & application
• System analysis and design
• Mobile QR Payments: Wallet payment capabilities for face to face, In-App, On-line payments; including Masterpass
• An overall understanding of the mobile phone development process and platforms, specifically Android and iOS
• EMV 3-D Secure 2.0, Mastercard’s Digital Enablement System (MDES) and Digital Secure Remote Payments (DSRP)
Additional Requirements • Own reliable transport and valid driver’s licence are pre-requisites
• Be able to travel internationally or nationally when required
• Ability to work in an open-plan environment
