REQUIREMENTS:
Qualification that allows registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as a Staff Nurse. Registration with SANC as Enrolled Nurse and proof of current registration. A minimum of 10 years’ appropriate/ recognizable experience in nursing after registration with the SANC as Staff Nurse. (Less one year from experience for candidates appointed from outside the public service after complying with registration requirements).

DUTIES:
o provide quality basic nursing care under the supervision of a Professional Nurse. To practice nursing care safely and ethically in allocated areas. Demonstrate ability to integrate knowledge, skills and attitudes for the care of patients. Perform the prescribed functions as an Enrolled Nurse within the framework of the scope of practice as prescribed by SANC. Good organising and planning skills.
