Key Purpose


This position is based in DFCR Telemarketing call centre, and reports to the sales manager. The successful individual will be required to conduct telemarketing across various product lines.


Areas of responsibility may include but not limited to:

  • Providing qualified sales leads to Financial Advisors
  • Setting up appointments for Financial Advisors
  • Confirming and rescheduling appointments
  • Client liaison i.e. assisting clients with queries regarding Life Cover, Investments, Medical Aid,
  • Vitality and Card queries. Managing leads for management to track lead status
  • Customer Surveys
  • Ensuring that daily and monthly targets are met
  • Recording and updating customer information
  • Participate in meetings and take responsibility for telemarketing improvement initiatives and other assigned action items

Education and Experience

  • Matric
  • At least 2 years sales experience, preferably in an outbound telesales environment
  • PC literacy, email, word, excel
  • Speak fluently (accent neutral) English/Afrikaans
  • Tertiary qualification an advantage
  • NQF 4 / 5 and RE1 qualification is preferable
