Social Media Coordinator Job Responsibilities:
Relay Campaign Management:
To plan, schedule & post branded content across owned social media channels based on marketing & promotional calendar
Manage the above content through monthly social media & paid schedules
To plan & share branded content across external partner social media channels (malls, media titles, etc)
Manage brand & product placement to deliver on strategic omni channel objectives
Build & manage relationships within collaborations & influencers
Community management, customer engagement & daily conversations on social media
Liaising with customer service, logging of daily complaints & online reputation management
Amplify messaging on social media for brand events or engagement activities
Drive data acquisition through social media
Weekly & monthly reports to marketing team & management
Competitor analysis & opportunities
Trending topics & relevant news/ opportunities
Copy writing for accompanying post copy & customer responses.
Community Management:
Execute a results-driven social media strategy as part of the digital team.
Manage brand & product placement to deliver on strategic omni channel objectives
Collaborate with marketing team to create a social media calendar aligned to the marketing & promotional plan.
Work with copywriters and designers to ensure content is informative and appealing
Manage the above content through monthly social media & paid schedules
Develop and curate engaging content for social media platforms.
Assist in the creation and editing of written, video, and photo content.
Attend events and produce live social media content
Amplify messaging on social media for brand events or engagement activities
Maintain unified brand voice across different social media channels.
Monitor social media channels for industry trends.
Interact with users and respond to social media messages, inquiries, and comments.
Review analytics and create reports on key metrics.
Build & manage relationships within collaborations & influencers

Social Media Coordinator Qualifications / Skills:
Diploma or tertiary studies in Digital marketing, communications, PR or similar
Passion, Confidence and 2-5 years’ experience in a similar role working in social media and proficiency with major social media platforms and social media management tools.
Excellent social listening skills
Ability to understand historical, current, and future trends in the digital content and social media space
Strong copywriting and copy editing skills
Top-notch oral and verbal communication skills
Impeccable time management skills with the ability to multitask
Detail-oriented approach with ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
Direct experience in social media management tools (Hootsuite etc)
Up to date with key trends & industry news
Ability to work well under pressure
Deadline driven / time management
Team player with a Can-do attitude

Responsibilities:
Work closely with the buying team to maximise sales, analyse performance & optimise product stock levels
Understanding and interpreting business trends in terms of the Markham target market
Analysis of merchandise performance and relevant outcomes proposed
Product strategy effectively communicated, presented and implemented
Financial and strategic management of the product e.g. product planning, allocations, controlling OTB, reviewing weekly & monthly figures
Management of range assortments
Management of replenishment stock
Collaborative partnerships with internal and external suppliers established and maintained
Requirements:
Proven working experience as a Merchandise Planner (3 years minimum)
Trader mentality, business acumen and entrepreneurial thinking
A high degree of numeracy and analytical thinking
The ability to think and operate at a strategic level
A detailed and methodical approach to work
To be able to make decisions and meet deadlines whilst working in a fast-paced, pressurised environment
Resilience and emotional maturity
Excellent interpersonal skills
