| Core Description | Responsible for administering & maintaining all ISP systems on a senior level, in order to ensure internal & external customer satisfaction, and compliance to the relevant service level agreements. Responsible for the design, documentation and implementation of improvements to current systems, additional functionalities and new products. Responsible for the co-ordination of on-the-job skills transfer to technical resources in team. This position could also include the management of a team. |

| Qualifications | Relevant 3 year IT Technical/ Eng/ ICT Degree/ Diploma. B.Tech. (IT Technical)/ B.Sc (Computer Science)/ N.Dip. (IT Technical) (at least NQF level 6). Relevant vendor certificate will be advantageous. |
| Experience | 5 Years relevant Linux and Enterprise/ Service Provider exp. Solid technical knowledge & exp in ISP, Server, Storage & Security technologies. |
| Special Requirements | Valid driver’s license. Must be willing to travel and to work after hours when required. Computer software: Linux & open source technologies & methodologies; Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Oracle Enterprise Linux; Clustering & load balancing; various File System options (GFS, NFS, etc); Databases (MySQL); Kickstart, PAM, LDAP, PKI; Package Management (RPM, including preparation of custom SPEC files). |
