Job Summary: As a Chemical Engineering Intern, you will work closely with our product development and manufacturing team to support the creation, improvement, and production of chemical products and analytical test kits. You will contribute to various stages of the product lifecycle, from concept development to commercialization, while ensuring adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:
Assist in the formulation and development of chemical products, including test reagents, solutions, and kits, by conducting experiments, analyzing data, and documenting findings.
Contribute to the design and optimization of manufacturing processes for chemical products and test kits.
Conduct research and analysis on raw materials, equipment, and manufacturing techniques to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reduction.
Support the scale-up of lab-scale formulations to pilot and production-scale batches, ensuring consistency and quality throughout the manufacturing process.

Perform analytical testing on prototypes and finished products to validate performance, ensure compliance with specifications, and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
Assist in the development and implementation of standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and quality control protocols for product manufacturing and testing.
Maintain accurate and detailed records of experiments, procedures, and results in compliance with company policies and regulatory guidelines.
Contribute to the evaluation and selection of vendors and suppliers for raw materials, equipment, and packaging components.
Support the documentation and submission of regulatory filings and compliance documentation for chemical products and test kits.

Qualifications:
Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor’s or degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
Strong theoretical knowledge of chemical engineering principles, process optimization, and analytical techniques.
Experience with laboratory techniques, including formulation, synthesis, and characterization of chemicals.
Familiarity with statistical analysis and data interpretation.
Proficiency in using laboratory equipment and software applications for data analysis.
Good understanding of quality control procedures, regulatory guidelines, and safety protocols in a laboratory setting.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and documentation skills.
Prior internship or research experience in chemical engineering or a related field is a plus.
