MR D Food, a 100% subsidiary of takealot.com, is looking for a talented, motivated and results-oriented Finance Clerk. This position will ensure that all daily transactions and finance related activities are executed timely and efficiently.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Processing of daily transactions
- Processing of daily refunds based on various payment methods
- Processing bank entries
- Daily reporting on business KPI metrics
- Reconciliation of control accounts
- Create and maintain restaurant partners accounts
- Resolve restaurant partner queries
- Preparation of statements and distribution thereof to restaurant partners
- Assist with internal queries on restaurant partners
- Processing transactions on accounts payable
- Working closely to operations team
- Additional ad hoc duties, as required within the finance department
Attributes required:
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Organizing and prioritizing
- Analytical and problem solving skills
- Good communication skills, interpersonal skills
Requirements:
- Relevant Certificate/Diploma in, Finance, Accounting or a closely related field
- 1 – 2 years experience in a similar role
- Proficiency in Excel
- Experience in SAGE Evolution would be beneficial
