The Supervisor provides general assistance and direction for our client’s Central Badging Center with regards to day-to-day operations, supervision of staff, responding to customer service requests, issuing access cards in a timely and efficient manner, conducting on-site training, as they relate to client/G4S Contractual agreement.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITY:
Specific Duties and Essential Functions
- Responsible for day-to-day operations of the Security Department at a client site; ensures the correct and consistent administration of the client and G4S Service Agreement; searches and makes recommendations on the implementation of Best Demonstrated Practices (BDP) and other key initiatives; ensures client/G4S policies and procedures are updated, implemented and adhered to
- Assures all baseline hours are scheduled and worked. Reviews and audits weekly the billing of baseline and service request hours and takes corrective actions. Assists CBC Coordinator in the approval of overtime scheduling to control security cost and overtime. Assures the scheduling of security personnel for all facility Special events
- On a random basis inspect each Security Post, checking for post housekeeping, Post Orders, Post Expectations, Post Procedure Manual and necessary emergency call listing
- Actively participates in facility standing committees and establishes a good working relationship with client management
- Responsible for monitoring and maintaining records of security officers required pre-site assignment training, on-site training and annual training; conducting site-specific training; and tracking and providing status reports of officers’ training expiration dates
- Provides guidance and direction to all security officers, promoting a proactive attitude in meeting the security and safety of the client
- Meet with client representatives to discuss service provided, identify problem areas, and takes corrective actions
- Monitors daily the content and quality of reports prepared by security officers and provides guidance as necessary
- Assures compliance with applicable sections of the client Fire Prevention and Protection Manual as well as the G4S Standard Operating Procedures and Policy Manual
- Provides on-the-job training for newly assigned Officers; ensures new staff is familiar with G4S policies and procedures, assigned rounds, client post orders and any other related responsibilities
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Education, Licenses and Certifications Required
- Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county and municipal licensing requirements for security personnel
Type and Length of Specific Experience Required
- Prior supervisory/management experience demonstrating each of the following:
- Ability to develop and lead direct reports in company practices and procedures
- Ability to analyze and develop innovative recommendations and solutions
- Excellent planning organizing and project management skills
- Strong verbal, written and presentation skills
- Ability to track, maintain and supervise staff, including assigning work and providing training and discipline
- Ability to provide positive direction and motivate performance and be an effective team member
- Ability to learn quickly and carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagrammatic form
- Courteous phone manner and maintain professional composure when dealing with unusual circumstances
- Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision and utilize sound judgment and be self-motivated

- Must be at least 18 years old or the minimum age required by the state, if higher
- Must be a U.S. citizen or a foreign citizen authorized to legally work in the United States
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- Must be able to provide, upon job offer, a DD214 discharge document with discharge status indicated if prior military
