Minimum Qualification Requirements
Grade 12 certificate
National Diploma in Town Planning/ Regional Planning or equivalent and relevant Qualification
2 years relevant experience
Key performance Areas
Provide administrative support in the general planning. Well as existing planning policy on national, provincial and local level.
Consider the principle of desirability as intended in the Land
Monitor that recommendations to applications for approval or rejection are adhered to.
Assist with monitoring if the development is sustainable and will not detract from the quality of the general living environment.
Provide technical support to developers, consultants, land owners and the general public, as well as various internal departments in terms town planning matters
Monitor business licenses in relation to the correct zoning of properties.
