Minimum Qualification Requirements:
National Diploma in Business administration/SMME
Code B Driver’s license
Computer literacy certificate
2 years relevant experience
Key Performance Areas:
Coordinate and evaluate all SMME economic development activities in the municipality through the establishment of a reliable and coherent database.
support all projects and ensure that they are within the required time frame, standard and resources
Conduct one to one interaction with local business stakeholders to cultivate a multidisciplinary approach, through the development of effective working partnership for the achievement of local economic growth.
Facilitate community development interventions and problem solving, aimed at addressing community needs, caused by economic constraints.
Coordinate skills capacity building for the SMMEs
Collate and analyse data to ensure a complete understanding of the trends, opportunities and challenges facing the SMMEs, and Cooperative sector in the district
Render advice and guidance on the registration of projects
Assist the community to develop business plans for projects
Co-ordinate broader based stakeholder workshops to seek ideas, establish priorities and determine strengths, weaknesses and threats
