Knowledge and application of Batho Pele Principles. | | Duties | Protect state properties, employees, visitors, and patients in the hospital for 24hrs. Access control and searching for both vehicles and pedestrians. Reporting of security breaches. Operate and maintain security equipment. Escort patients, visitors, and contractors. Report security breaches and defects. Write a statement and testify in courts. Escort finance personnel within the hospital premises. Switch on and off lights in your area of responsibility. Write and submit reports to the supervisor as soon as possible. Assist with the restraining of patients. Conduct hourly patrols, Control of traffic on-premises. Clamping of incorrectly parked vehicles. Provide directions to staff, patients, visitors, and contractors. Comply with security dress code always. Implementations of security policies and other prescripts. Perform other duties as allocated by the supervisors. Comply with the duty roster. Be willing to undergo continuous training and development programmes. Attend meetings as approved by the supervisor.
