INTRODUCTION

To ensure service excellence at the point of sale, customer service must be rapid and efficient, as well as point of sale (POS) operational activities.

 

JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Objectives:

 

Manage point-of-sale operations efficiently and timely.

Manage stock and cash efficiently, minimize shrinkage, and maintain good housekeeping and administrative standards.

Ensure shop assistants and cashiers are trained, knowledgeable, motivated, and guided to provide exceptional service at all times.

Ensure adequate staffing of shop assistants and cashiers in accordance with work schedules, corporate regulations, and labor laws.

To timeously and efficiently resolve all customer queries in line with the Company’s policies.

To promote the Clicks clubcard in order to meet participation targets.

To properly manage stock by implementing security measures, cash controls, returns policies, and all other administrative duties linked to reducing stock losses and improving security procedures at the point of sale.

To provide exceptional customer service by serving as a brand representative, remaining accessible, and delivering a courteous and professional experience.

To align with the Group’s vision of becoming the preferred health and beauty retailer for customers by embodying and promoting the company’s values.

To ensure comprehensive knowledge of products, collections, promotions, and events to consistently offer accurate information to customers.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION:

 

Essential:

Grade 12

Relevant Retail/Business Management qualification (External applicants)

Desirable:

Maths 50% and English 50% at Grade 12 level
