Both South African law and the Aevitas Sperm Donation Agency protect the donor and recipient family’s identity through the following system:
The Aevitas Sperm Donation Agency provides anonymous donor profiles to recipient families for their consideration through a password-protected login system.
Recipient families only see anonymous general information about the donor. Baby or toddler photographs of the donor assist the recipient family to visually match the donor to their own genetic material while protecting the donor from identification.
