| Core Description | Responsible for the Voice (VoIP) services facilitated by our network. Provide direction for the architecture, engineering, design, implementation, operation, maintenance, regulatory compliance, and ongoing reliability of the voice platform. Also assist in training the rest of the team members. You will be an expert with equipment common to IP voice including PBX, SBCs, SIP Proxies and monitoring systems. |

| Qualifications | 3 year degree/ diploma in computer science and or engineering or related field (at least NQF level 6) |
| Experience | 5 years experience hands-on Voice network engineering/ design and operation of large, high-availability Voice network. Multi-vendor hardware and software environments (SBCs, SIP proxies etc.). Troubleshooting complex networks and applications. Executing best practice concepts including RFC and ISO standards, SLA’s, and change management. Linux experience. |
